Let’s talk some fitness! You may want to use a towel or a yoga mat for your knees. This is some full body. I will not tell you that you have to add weights. Nor if you are just starting should you. Your own body weight will be enough to start with. Each move do 5 to 10 of them (except the wall sit) 2 or 3 times if you are new to working out. If you have more experience do more reps and another set. For the wall sit do for 10 to 15 seconds. Trust me it’s long enough do it 2 times. Remember my note about the doctor. #rheumatoidarthritis #fibromyalgia #autoimmunedisease #knowledge #inspire #cannibuscures #painmanagement #getmoving #feelbetter #rafitness #fibrofitness #rafitnesswarriors #invisibleillness #notinmyhead #chronicfatigue #selfcare #chronicallyfabulous #positvity #igotthisitdoesnthaveme #lymedisease #fibrowarrior #edibles #medicinal #healthy
Made diced chicken with sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts tossed in homemade green goddess sauce. I add turmeric in almost all my recipes. It doesn’t add any flavor and it is good for inflammation. I will post the recipe for the green goddess sauce in another post.
So where do you start with working out? Do you start with eating better first or working out? These are questions I answer fairly often. Eating changes are already happening because of our fight anyways (or should be starting). Your body will tell you as you workout and the results will show you. You will start to crave better foods. The greasy food and junk will make your body unhappy. There are some recipes on my blog and more to come. So then when do you know when you should start working out? Do small things until you see your doctor. Take walks. Do different types of stretching. I will post some images of good stretches to try and see how they feel. See if your local community offers water classes of any kind. Guys you can do these too. The most important thing is to keep going and always move. Never let this get the best of you.

I want to note right away I am certified as a fitness nutritionist and a personal trainer but you should always consult your doctor before taking part in a fitness program. I am offering help and ideas and would be happy to help in anyway to customize a meal plan and workout for you but make sure your doctor is aware. That being said I know being diagnosed is heartbreaking and can leave you lost. Especial when you get a dual diagnosis. I have fibromyalgia as well as Rheumatoid arthritis and lymes disease and endometriosis. So I understand pain and being tired. But please know movement and keeping going will help more than you know. At first you will be sore. But you are already in pain and I promise it will help in the long run. I run and walk, I do weight training (right now on one side because of my shoulder injury) yoga is amazing. Especially hot yoga the heat warms your muscles and joints to help you stretch. Am I saying you will jump in 6 days a week like me NO it took me several years and a lot of work. And I still have days I am too tired and in too much pain. What I do know is I went from 36 pills a day to 18 and a weekly shot. Follow next post..
I am almost always working out. But as you all know there are days that the pain is just too much. But I can tell you getting the extra weight off helped me so much. I got the workout wear from the company I mentioned before. A company that donates 50% to the needy. I thought that was a great thing. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!!! It is so soft and comfy. It is lightweight. I didn’t have to adjust it at all during my whole workout.
HEY ALL!! Here is the long over due recipe for my baked cauliflower buffalo bites.
1 head of cauliflower
1 cup Milk ( any milk is fine I use soy)
1 cup flour ( I use coconut but this is such a small amount for a whole head that it would be fine to use regular IF you are not gluten free)
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp olive oil ( I do not use this but some pans like to stick)
2/3 cup buffalo sauce ( I make my own recipe below)
Preheat oven 450 degrees F
Cut cauliflower into bite size pieces like in the picture too big they will not cook all the way In a large ziploc bag ( or big bowl) mix milk, flour, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.close bag and squish around until mixed (or stir if in a bowl) Add all cauliflower to bag and squish around until fully coated set aside in another bag add the panko prepare pans wipe with oil or leave as is. I leave mine it browns them better make sure you have enough space for all the cauliflower. Even if you don’t eat it this time you still need to bake. squish the batter and cauliflower around again In a strainer pour the cauliflower and batter into it. let drain a bit do not shake to remove pour into the panko bag and roll around separate on pans. try to keep from touching or staking bake 15 min then flip them the best you can. bake another 5 to 10 min. until a fork goes in easy and they feel soft when they are done option to toss all in buffalo sauce or toss some in a bit of sauce or serve with sauce on the side. A little goes a long ways with this sauce.
